Will they need to buy any pencils for the mini-course?
To get similar results, I recommend using the same pencils that I use, which are a mix of Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d’Ache Pablos and a handful of Luminance.

But they don't need to buy a full set! Just the individual colours, it’s far more economical that way. All of my tutorials have a materials list so they’ll know exactly what they need before starting.

If they've already got a full set of another good quality brand, you’ll be fine to use the equivalent colours from that set - but just bear in mind the results may differ.
Can they upgrade to the full course later if they choose?
